FRAMING SUGGESTIONS
for 16x16 prints
Framing larger prints can get expensive quickly, but I've found a solution that should run you around $100 if you're willing to do a little work yourself. I'll walk you through the process.
FIRST, BUY A READY-MADE FRAME FROM POTTERY BARN
Pottery Barn has some lovely ready-made wooden frames that are reasonably priced and just the right size for framing my 16x16" prints. Both come with plexiglass glazing (which is much safer than glass for large frames) and the only problem is that the mats that are included don't have the right size opening, so you will need to get a custom mat. The two frames I'm referring to are right here:
25.5 x 25.5" square frame with multiple openings (the 1st frame on the page)

or
25 x 25" square frame with oversized matt (the 3rd down on the page - says 8x10" but that's referring to the print size)

THEN, TAKE A TRIP DOWN TO YOUR LOCAL ART SUPPLY SHOP
The easiest way to have it done is to have a mat custom cut for you at a local art shop like Michaels or AC Moore and have them assemble it for you. Just bring the print & the frame to your local shop and have them cut a mat to fit, and assemble it. Having someone assemble it for you will be well worth it if you don't have any experience matting or framing, and it will be MUCH more affordable than having a professional frame shop custom frame it for you.
